[puffing into Brendam Docks; to Gordon and Emily, who are already there] Good morning!
[to the engines] The brand-new brass water wheel has just arrived from the mainland. It is magnificent. It will be displayed by the water works at Great Waterton. [to Edward] Edward, you will deliver the water wheel to Great Waterton. I have chosen you, Edward, because you are the steadiest engine. You are to take the express line. It is the smoothest and most direct way to Great Waterton.
[Gordon gasps in shock, realizing that Edward is going to use his express line to Great Waterton]
[after Cranky safely lowered the amazing water wheel onto his flatbed] Edward the Steady, is at the ready!
