Why involve me? I'm nobody. It's my first day. Nothing special about me.
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
Oh. I think you're very special.

I'm going to make you famous, Lizzie. We are going to be famous
And I'm supposed to believe you?
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
Of course not! I'm a criminal. Criminals are notorious liars. Everything about me is a lie. But, if anyone will give me a second chance it's you. The two of us have overcome so much.
[screaming at Red] We're not a team! You're not my partner! my partner is TOM not you
RZRanko Zamani
Raymond, today on this day I am giving their plague back to them. In sixty years they will be talking about this day, about my legacy.
[just before going undercover] Before we do this, let me be clear. I'm not here to socialize, I have no interest in having dinner with you, nor do we have the time. We meet your contact, we get the name of The Freelancer's next victim and we go. Are we understood?
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
I agree with you completely, but it is a restaurant and it is dinner time...
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
You look like the CIA.
MMMeera Malik
Oh yeah? What's the CIA look like?
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
Attractive but treacherous.
MMMeera Malik
I guess we'll find out.
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
The FBI works for me now.
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
[to Elizabeth about Tom] We never really know anyone, do we? It seems you have two options. Either you turn him in or you confront him... or perhaps there's a third option.
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
[to Elizabeth] What if I were to tell you that all the things you've come to believe about yourself are a lie?
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
[dismissing an operative while playing himself in chess] I prefer to play with myself in private.
[about Wujing] He's a myth.
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
That's what they said about Deep Throat... and the G-spot.
I'm sorry, you're decoding CIA messages on behalf of the Chinese...
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
[nods at Elizabeth reassuringly] Now you see? You make it sound like treason, so black and white. It's not, it's green.
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
I've been moving comfortably through the world for the past twenty years without a trace, and now some two-bit spy killer is going to put my life and business in jeopardy?
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
What's the question?
Why me?
RRRaymond 'Red' Reddington
Because of your father.
