I ate lunch at the same time every day, even when I didn't have any food, even though I had no idea what time it was. I built things in the afternoon a bookshelf, a desk. I watched the sunset. That was important. I listened to the birds. I cleaned up files on my computer after dinner, then I slept. I tried not to dream. And every morning after I woke up, I wrote a letter to my wife and son. And I folded the letter up, and I put it on the bookshelf. And then I measured the walls.
