MouseWe're playing together, Hazel. Do you want to play Follow the Leader with us?
Follow the Leader? Have I played that? Leap Squirrel, Acorn Tossing, Berry Bowling, Shell Sliding... Nope, never played Follow the Leader. Wish I could play with you, but I'm busy. I have to pick up my acorns. It's what I do.
But what if we can think up a rainy-day game that you like? Something really, really, really fun.
MouseFun? In the rain? I don't know.
Can we try? Pretty please with radishes on top.
MouseHe's gonna bug me until I say "yes". Okay. Yes. Fine, we can try.
I've never heard of anybody catching up to a rainbow.
Well, we're going to do it because we're fast.
And smart.
MouseAnd we're already wet. So there's no point in stopping now.
MouseWhat?! You flipped Mossy?!
I didn't know it was Mossy.
MouseOhh. Catch me someone, I think I'm gonna faint. [faints]
MouseI have an idea. If we tickle the tree, maybe it will make the leaf fall.
Great idea. Everybody get your ticklers warmed up. Now ready, get set, tickle!
[Everyone tickles the tree, but the leaf won't come down]
I guess trees aren't ticklish.
MouseHey, Thunder. Nice pumpkin.
It's my lunch. You want to share it with me? I can do sharing.
MouseThis is silly. We always think of things.
Even when don't want to think of things, we think of things. What'll we do?
MouseLet's go tell the others about Jasper's birthday.
MouseI'm gonna build sand animals. What are you gonna do at the pond?
Swim till my tail gets soggy.
MouseHey, we're done. All the nuts are washed.
Ah. But we were having fun.
MouseGee whiskers. Look at the river. It's turned to mud.
Hoptastic! Now we won't have to swim across.
MouseBut we'll get stuck.
MouseRabbit, we're stuck in the mud.
Good place to make mud carrots.
We could sing!
MouseHow will singing get us out of the mud?
Uh, I don't know. But it's fun. And I don't have any more ideas.
Here ya' go, Rabbit. Some nice, soft grass.
MouseAnd carrot juice, your favorite.
Uh oh! Wait! [whispering] Carrot juice is an energy drink. It will just give him more bounce. We need something to take his bounces away.
MouseThunder, we have a surprise for you.
A surprise? I can do surprises.
I call this the wiggly, woggly.
MouseThis one's the swiggle, swaggle.
The twirly bird.
MouseThe bounceroonie! Huh?
Mouse, your bouncing is hoptastic.
MouseWhee! Why are we bouncing so high?
We must be in a bouncy bog.
MouseBut bogs usually don't, whoo!, bounce.
