Devlin and Knight Valiant in “Valiant”

With your swordcraft and this shield, I guarantee you'll win.

Show me how it works.

Certainly. (He says a spell and the snakes on the shield come to life) When you're competing in the tournament, you pin your opponent under the shield. The snake strikes; your opponent will be paralyzed. (He hands the shield to Valiant) The snakes are now under your command. They will do anything you tell them to do.

Anything?

Just say the word.

Kill him. (A snake strikes and kills Devlin)
