Thank you Mitty, for pulling Reg's Treasure up out of that place
(describing Lyza) A heavy drinker, quick to get into fights, always going too far with pranks, and you could never tell how honest she was being. On top of that, she had a brutally unbalanced diet. If she weren't a whistle, she would just be a regular weirdo...Really, she was quite a handful.
(to Ozen) That wound proves that your mind has repelled the Abyss. An undeniable proof. Ozen the Immovable. An actual white whistle. Hey, would you be my mentor?
(to Ozen) Ozen. If she [Riko] ever wanted to reach the bottom again and confronted you. I want you to tell her. Tell her what a miracle it is that she can move. Teach her how to brave the wonderful adventures waiting for her afterwards.
(to Riko and Reg) I am Bondrewd. Delver of the Abyss. The Lord of Dawn, as some people call me.
You're saying as if a family can only be made with blood relations. I do not think that is the case. A compassionate heart is what makes people a family. Blood does not help much in that regard. Love. It's love, Nanachi.
(to Nanachi) May your journey overflow with curses and blessing.
[first lines]
Come on, Nat! Why are you following me?
NNat
Shut up! You know I'm responsible for that area above yours, Riko!
Oh, that's right...
[A rope is thrown to the ground, emitting a few flying insects from the grass. A young girl with blonde hair tied in pigtails and wearing glasses, Riko, descends to the Abyss' first layer, the Edge of the Abyss. Her friend, Nat, follows her.]
Well, at least help me carry the Relics on the way home, then.
NNat
Why?!
Well, today my haul needs to receive the highest valuation out of all Red Whistles!
[as she finds a skeleton in prayer] A skeleton of someone in prayer. First time I've seen one in quite a while, so it came as a shock. Sorry for disturbing you.
[After Riko and her new friend Reg arrive at a windmill]
We arrived! It's almost time, Reg!
[The song "Hanezeve Caradhina" plays in the background as the sun rises to show the whole city of Orth.]
Reg, this is the city where we live. The city of the great chasm, Orth. Welcome to Orth, Reg!
RReg
This chasm...?
Oh? Reg, have you forgotten all about the Abyss?!
RReg
"Abyss"?
This great chasm is the Abyss. You were found in the depths of the Abyss! I... I thought that maybe you come from the bottom of the Abyss.
RReg
Eh?
I mean, until now I hadn't seen a robot like you! I'm sure that's it! The bottom of the Abyss, that nobody has ever seen.
RReg
Abyss...
Around 1,900 years ago, a great chasm was discovered on a remote island of the Southern seas of Beoluska. With a diameter of approximately one kilometer and a depth still unknown, that strange form fascinated people. The valuable and dangerous primitive creatures, and the mysterious "Relics" that go beyond reason, attracted adventures greedy for riches. Before they knew it, they had built a great city. Over the years, attracted by the romance to the unknown and its many legends, many people were swallowed, by the only and last abysm of the world. It is called the Abyss.
"At the netherworld's bottom, I'll be waiting."

Something more frightening than unfulfilled dreams awaits beyond the gold. At the very least, realize your dreams and despair.
