"Pretty good for a girl." I heard that a lot as a kid. Then I became a successful female attorney, read: pretty good for a girl. But today, I see a sisterhood of founding partners. I see excellent lawyers who are stronger because we wouldn't stand for being pretty good. I see mentors raising the next generation of women, who, one day, will stand with us on a day like this, and see what we see. Women in power. Women in law. Thank you for this great honor.
