Kagome Higurashi, Miroku and others in “Unfinished Business”

Kagome Higurashi

(concerning Miroku's past relationship with Shima, a girl he cured of sickness) And? The two of you became fast friends?

Miroku

No!

Miroku gave us the medicinal herbs, then vanished almost as suddenly as he'd appeared.

Miroku

(smirking) Hear that?! Innocent of any wrongdoings!

Except... (Miroku gulps)

Miroku

(in flashback) I hope when you are well, you will consider bearing my child, Shima.

Two things kept me going: the expensive medicinal herbs, and the promise I made to Monk Miroku! That's how I completely recovered.

Kagome

See?! You were trying to seduce her!

Sango

(sarcastically, whacking Miroku over the head repeatedly to emphasize her words) It's ok. After all, it was a thing of the past.
