Kagome, Kocho and others in “Unfinished Business”

Kagome

Kikyo. Are you alive or are you...?

Her life is fading.

The miasma is spreading very rapidly.

Kagome

Miasma?

You must make you decision.

Whether or not you will save her.

Kagome

What do you mean "decision"? I don't get it. What's happening to Kikyo?

After Mount Hakurei was destroyed, she was struck by Naraku's tentacles and fell into a dark river of miasma.

But her body was made of sacred soil and ashes from her gave, so the miasma could not dissolve her flesh.

However, the miasma from her wounds spread throughout her body. The would in her chest sill has not healed, and the miasma is eating away at her.

There is one who can save her.

Only you have the power.

You are her only hope.

You hold her life in your hands.

Then you choose to save her?

Kagome

Of course I do! I'm the only one can help her, right!? So I will.

All you have to do is touch her.

That will be enough to purify the miasma.
