Inuyasha and Mushini in “Unfinished Business”

Inuyasha

Inuyasha

Does that mean his life's been shortened. How much longer does he have to live?

I don't know. The Wind Tunnel is a generational curse placed on Miroku's family by the demon Naraku. If Naraku is destroyed, then the curse will be lifted, and Miroku's life will be spared. The sooner you get him the better. It's Miroku's only hope.
