You know, you won't let me change. You really expect me to steal, don't you?
I expect sharks to bite, too. Don't take it personally.
“The Return of Amanda” · Season 2, Episode 7
In this episode: Amanda (7), Duncan MacLeod (6)
I really do like you, Duncan. Let's just play house for 70 or 80 years.
Who were those guys?
I swear on my mother's grave...
You don't have a mother.
Why won't you believe me? I've never seen those guys before in my life.
Funny, they seemed to know you.
[Amanda wants to know why Duncan is smiling]
Why can't I just smile? I'm happy, we're safe for now, I've just made love to the most devious, scheming, deceitful... beautiful woman in history.
Do you really think I'm one of the most beautiful women in history?
I told you, I'm not a thief any more.
So you turned to counterfeiting instead?
Well, I ran out of money, what else am I supposed to do?
Oh, a job is out of the question.
Would you get serious, MacLeod.
Wait, wait, counterfeiting and honesty, they go well together, right?
Don't be so picky, my heart was in the right place.
