You know, when I was a little girl, my father used to work a lot, too. And he was in the Navy, so sometimes he'd be gone for months at a time.

Did you miss him?

Catherine

A lot, yeah. But that was the sacrifice that he had to make for his country. Just like your dad's had to make sacrifices for his job, which is keeping this island safe. I know it's really hard to be away from your family, Grace, but that's why it's really important to make the most of the time that you guys have together.

Did you think Danno was sad that I didn't go trick-or-treating with him?

Catherine

Mm, I think maybe a little bit. But I'm sure you can make it up to him.
