[off-screen] Fox, [on-screen; rushes to the tree fort] what are you doing?!
FFox
[stammers] I... I... I was just gonna put it back!
[Franklin grabs the flag from Fox.]
[glares at Fox] I told you not to tell anyone (about Bear's secret)!
[glares at Franklin] And I told you not to tell anyone, Franklin!
But I... I-- I didn't mean--
[Franklin and Bear have a tug-of-war over the flag.]
Fox really wanted me to show it to him. And I just showed it to him for a second.
Come on, Bear. Let's just tie the flag to the highest branch.
[Soon, Franklin and Bear's fighting causes the flag to rip in half. Franklin gasps, then Bear gasps, then Fox, Beaver, and Snail all gasp. Bear is soon overcome with sadness and anger over the flag getting ripped, as well as Franklin spoiling the surprise; he throws his torn half of the flag on the ground as he leaves.]
That's the last time I tell you a secret, Franklin!
[Looking at the stream] Uh oh.
FFox
Hey, someone forgot to put a bridge here.
[Laughs] Who needs a bridge? [Swims across the stream]
FFox
Yes, but your feet are waterproof. I'm taking the stepping stones.
And this is more fun anyway.
You can see it on display at our museum.
Sort of, but this time we're giving you a cookie.
Huh? You're giving us cookies?
FFox
Yeah, why are you giving them to us?
Because that's the kind of thing friends do.
Great! We'll come every day! Just kidding.
Franklin could count by twos and tie his shoes. He could swim in the pond and play find the acorn in the woods. He knew how to play fair and how to share his homemade treats. And one day, Franklin learned something new about being kind to a friend.
I must be getting warmer now, right?
FFox
Uh uh. Not even close.
Not even close? Where did you hide it? On another planet?
Yeah. We've looked for that acorn in places where Squirrel wouldn't even think of.
FFox
Well, I can tell you one place you haven't thought of looking.
BRBeaver, Raccoon, Franklin Turtle, Bear
Where?
FFox
The place where it is!
