Cody quotes from Cocomelon Lane

JJ

Neigh-neigh. It's JJ. We're going on a field trip today to the pet rescue. We're gonna be pet helpers.

Cody

I hope we get to help take care of puppies. Arf-arf-arf!

Welcome to the pet rescue, little helpers. Our pets love having special visitors and today you'll be helping take care of them. Bella and Nico will help with the birds. Cece will help the kitties. JJ and Nina will help the bunnies. And Cody will help...

Cody

Please, be a puppy. Please, be a puppy.

Black Jack!

Cody

A puppy. Whoa!

It's okay, Cody. Black Jack is a friendly pup. He's just telling you, he's ready to play.

Cody

The other puppies, I know they aren't jumpy, and barky, and I'm not ready to play like that.

Oh. I see. It sounds like you're feeling timid. That's when you feel a little scared and a little shy. Like, when you meet a new person, or puppy, for the first time.

Cody

Is timid when I wanna turn around like this and look at the ground?

Yes, it is.

Cody

Then yes. I am feeling timid.

That's okay. If you're not ready to play quite yet, there are other ways you can help find Black Jack.

Welcome to the cafe, kitchen helpers. Today you'll help make a special pancake breakfast to help the heroes of Cocomelon Lane. Your first kitchen mission is to make the pancake batter.

Cody

I got the flour.

Nico

I got the milk.

Nina

Eggy.

That's it.

JJ

Mix, mix.

Great job, kids. Your next mission is to help set-up the table for our heroes.

Alright, kids. This way.

Cody

Especially when there's pancakes.

JJ

Hmm...

Hey hey, what's on your mind, JJ? Don't you wanna help set-up outside with all our friends?

JJ

I wanna help set-up. But I'm really wanna know how to goop a batter when it goes yummy in my tummy pancakes!

Oh, I see. Sounds like you're feeling curious.

JJ

What's curious?

That's when you want to know how something works and you have a lot of questions, and that's okay! Asking questions is a great way to learn something new. Like, how to make pancakes.

JJ

Really?

Yep.

Welcome to the apple orchard, little helpers! Pick any apples you like and we'll bring them back to share at the Harvest Festival. Have fun!

Bella

Look at 'em all.

Great job. Oh, do you need any help?

Cece

That apple looks crunchy.

Cody

That's the real big apple. Let me pick you, apple.

Hiya Cody. Looks like that apple's a teensy bit high up there. Want me to grab it for you?

Cody

No thank you, Miss Appleberry. I really wanna pick it myself. But (sighs) it's too high. It's making me feel all scrunchy and huffy.

Oh, it sounds like you're feeling frustrated. That's how you feel when you keep trying to do something. But, it doesn't work.

Nighty night, little man.

Cody

Nighty night, daddy. Nighty night, Kendi.

Goodnight, Cody.

Cody

Mommy, wait.

Oh, what's wrong, Cody?!

Cody

Can daddy bring Kendi back so I give her my present now?

Aw, sweetie. You can do it first thing tomorrow morning. If you close your eyes and fall asleep, it'll be Christmas before you know it.

All right, Cody. Ready to go home?

Cody

Okay. Come on, Mr. Buttons! I can't wait for you to meet JJ & Nina.

Aw, little man. I'm afraid Mr. Buttons can't go home with us.
