Come on, can't you cut him a little slack? Like my mom said, he's just a guy trying to put his house in order.
It's a cold draft that blows through that house.

S1 E15Unfinished Business
[Batman subdues a would-be assassin of the reborn Victor Fries, the man pleading for vengeance because Mr. Freeze killed his family]
We'll let the police handle this.
No, I've caused this man enough pain.
Just because he ran off doesn't mean he'll come back.
He'll be back. Count on it. He lives for revenge.
Not the Victor Fries I met.
What you met was a ghost.
[The building he is in begins crashing down, and as Powers escapes the destruction, out of the rubble rises Freeze, in a new and powerful Freeze suit]
It's something I've kept in cold storage.
SLDr. Stephanie Lake
We were only trying to help you...
Remember, there may be some momentary discomfort.
[Lake screams as he freezes her to death]
There's enough energy here to blow the whole compound, Batman. I suggest you find a way out.
Freeze, think! This can't be what you want. You'll only cause more pain, more suffering!
No - I end it. When this goes, I go too.
[after freezing Batman] You had your chance.
So did you.
[Freeze cries out in pain as Blight melts through his suit with a mere touch]
Yeah, you feel it don't you? Right through your suit. The heat is on, Victor.
And behold, I shall be a blight upon the land, and everything I touch shall wither and die!
[Batman knocks him away, saving Freeze]
Batman.
And who are you, sunshine?
"Blight" will do.
[They fight, and in the Batcave, Bruce's heat sensors fly off the charts]
[via commlink] Terry! There's something hot in that room!
No kidding! This guy, he's like a walking meltdown!
Keep your distance. The suit will give you some protection, but it's not designed for such high levels of radiation.
You only got a tan that time, Batman. Here comes the real burn!
Stay where you are.
You've got to get out of here, Freeze! The whole place is going to go!
Believe me, you're the only one who cares.
With all his injuries and that cracked helmet? No way he got out.
It could have been worse. He could have blown up the whole compound, like he intended. Killed hundreds.
I guess you were right about Freeze all along.
We both were.
